MEC* H251 - Materials Strength Credits: 4 Covers the principles involved in the analysis of stresses which occur within machine and structural elements subjected to various types of loads. Analysis of these stresses are made as applied to thin-walled cylinders and spheres, beams, columns, couplings and shafts. Laboratory experiments supplement and reinforce theoretical class work.
