PHL* H112 - Medical Ethics Credits: 3 This course is an introduction to moral issues and options in medicine, with particular attention to those most directly affecting the public and general medical personnel. Topics include the meaning of “life,” birth control, artificial insemination, genetic engineering, abortion, human experimentation, behavior control, organ transplantation, truth and the physician, care of the dying, and public health care.
Prerequisite(s): ENG* H101.
