CJS* H233 - Institutional Security Credits: 3 This course is designed to give the student an understanding of the role of security as it applies to public and private institutions, such as hospitals, airports, and government agencies. The student will learn how an institution can be compromised by breaches of security. Topics to be discussed include physical security, internal control, processing clearances, safeguarding classified information, and visitor and area control.
Prerequisite(s): C or better in CJS* H101.
