ENG* H102 - Literature and Composition Credits: 3 This advanced writing course is designed to refine student’s critical reading and writing skills through in-depth analysis of literary genres such as fiction, poetry, and drama. Students will engage in sophisticated writing assignments which emphasize the importance of authoritative research and complex logical reasoning, interpretation, and argumentation. Students will apply literary theories while developing their understanding and appreciation of literature and its relationship to society.
Prerequisite(s): C or better in ENG* H101 or recommendation of the Associate Dean of LABSS and instructor. Note: ENG*H102 is an academic core course.
