CJS* H259 - Writing and Research in Criminal Justice Credits: 3 This course emphasizes the practical aspects of gathering, organizing, and preparing written reports and other documents applicable to criminal justice professions. Students will practice the process and procedure of creating and completing successful professional documents in the criminal justice field, make use of technologies commonly used for research and writing in the criminal justice field, and learn the convention of evidence, format, usage, and proper documentation.
