PSY* H258 - Behavior Modification Credits: 3 A study of learning theories in which operant and classical conditioning are presented. The focus is on the use of the concepts and principles of applied behavior analysis in teaching functional skills and decreasing maladaptive behaviors in such situations as the home, school, group homes, and mental health settings. Research methods, history, and ethical issues of behavior modification are also reviewed.
