ECE* H222 - Methods and Techniques in Early Childhood Education Credits: 3 The study of the knowledge and skills needed to plan, implement, and evaluate a developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum. Experiences will focus on the design of the learning environment, the interaction between teacher, child and family, classroom management, and the fostering of opportunities to enhance the development of the whole child. Guidance of children’s behavior will be explored.
Prerequisite(s): ECE* H101, ECE* H103, ECE* H106, ECE* H176, and ECE* H231, ENG* H101, PSY* H111, SOC* H101, should be taken concurrently with ECE* H291. Written permission is required before enrollment.
