GLG* H121 - Introduction to Physical Geology Credits: 4 This course will be devoted to the study of the processes involved in the formation of the earth’s crust. A study of earthquakes, volcanoes, mountain building, minerals, oceans, continental drift, and erosion by wind, water, and ice will be explored.
Prerequisite(s): C or better in MAT* H094/MAT* H095, or an appropriate score on a college placement exam and eligibility for ENG* H101. Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 3 Note: Some field trips may be included.
